Published content is deposited in the PKP Preservation Network, a distributed LOCKSS archive held across university libraries. If this journal ceased to exist, its content would be recoverable and would remain publicly accessible.

In addition, the journal database and files are backed up nightly, encrypted, to storage held with a different provider from the one hosting the site. Authors are free to deposit the published version in their institutional repository immediately, with no embargo.
